Our Summer Session begins May 15th. Online registration for the summer session is now available. Please complete the registration process (including 2008 USA Water Polo membership). Also remember that with every friend who registers to the club, you will receive a $50.00 S&R Sport merchandise credit!

***We are offering a special fee for TRAINING ONLY ($300). This is for players who want to continue training without participating in tournaments.

Please take a moment to make sure that your USA Water Polo registration is current for the new year! All memberships expire at the end of every calendar year - unless you have signed up for a 3 year membership. Please do not wait until the last minute. For insurance purposes and tournament eligibility, all LAWPC members must be current with USA Water Polo! We would really appreciate your taking care of this!

LAWPC is one of the premier clubs in the United States and in recent months we demonstrated the depth and strength of our program. Nine teams, including the Premier League with National Team members, competed locally in Southern California. The 10th Grade & Under AA Flight Boys won the Championship game at the 2008 WinterFest at Los Alamitos.

Earlier this year 3 LA teams travelled to Canada to compete in the annual Alberta Open Tournament. All three teams won top honors in their respective age groups. Read about their adventures by clicking here.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ:
LAWPC Team Uniform Policy Strictly Enforced as of March 1st 2008

All players competing with Los Angeles Water Polo Club are required to wear only LAWPC Speedo swim suits, LAWPC tees, LAWPC swim caps (girls), and LAWPC Speedo warm-ups, Speedo shorts, or blue denim jeans (in good (condition). Beginning the weekend of March 1st, the uniform policy will be strictly enforced. Players who are not in proper LAWPC club attire will not be allowed to play under any circumstances. Our contract with Speedo requires that all athletes, playing for LAWPC, must be in proper Speedo attire. Thank you for your cooperation!

Building Excellence
The Los Angeles Water Polo Club is committed to offering programs for players of all ages, regardless of experience or skill level. Competitive teams are broken into age group, high school and masters divisions. Instruction is offered in tactics, conditioning and overall knowledge (physical and psychological) of the game from a staff comprised of the best coaches in the United States. The program provides a wide-range of opportunities for the new and experienced player to maximize his or her potential.

Due to the financial commitment which must be made by the Los Angeles Water Polo Club prior to national tournaments, it has become necessary to implement the following policy for those athletes wishing to participate:

Water Polo Annual Fund!
Funds will be dedicated to providing...

Playbooks – provide all players with LAWPC playbooks and lessons.
Skills Clinics – expand the skills clinic program.
Player Evaluations – provide all players with an evaluation from their coaches at the end of each session.
Premier Competition – continue to provide funding for Premier League or similar teams.
Scholarships - provide funds to allow players of all economic backgrounds to participate in LAWPC.
