At Los Angeles Water Polo Club our focus is on coaching players to be both mentally and physically strong and healthy, based in part on an innovative training and injury prevention program specifically tailored to water polo.

Our methodology is centered upon building strength to master advanced movements necessary to excel in our game, conditioning the mind to react successfully in pressure situations, teaching techniques to ensure each athlete minimizes injury risk, and coaching to the fundamentals required to master the sport.

Our mission is to create a one of a kind club providing our members with the necessary tools to reach their maximum potential in age group and high school water polo. We encourage teamwork, community, perseverance, and tenacity in the pool and in all other aspects of their lives.

 

LAWPC pledges to provide an opportunity for members of all abilities with an emphasis on fun at the novice level, instructional growth at the intermediate level and elite training for competition at the highest level.

 

LAWPC pledges to be competitive at a championship level in all water polo events for boys and girls of all age groups and to continue the legacy of fostering athletes who compete at the college level and beyond.
